Jet Li — Bodyguard from Singapore Laaa

Jet Li is now offi­cially a Singaporean!

He moved his wife, for­mer actress Nina Li Chi, and their two daugh­ters, Jane and Jade, to Sin­ga­pore in 2007 for his children’s edu­ca­tion. Now that he is join­ing them, he’s rumored to have bought a S$20 mil­lion lux­ury prop­erty at Bukit Timah Road.

The Bei­jing born Kung Fu Star had pre­vi­ously migrated to the US 20 years ago and lived in LA before becom­ing Sin­ga­porean.. 20 years in LA??.. hmmm… then why isn’t his eng­lish get­ting any bet­ter?… and now he’s gonna try pick up singlish… … No offense intended to Sin­ga­pore­ans.. I lived there for 6 years myself.. and I do speak singlish as well

Jet Li is not the first of China’s super­star to migrate to Sin­ga­pore… Gong Li Became a Sin­ga­porean in 2008… Hmmm… China’s los­ing their celebs to Sin­ga­pore… what they gonna do about that?..

I guess they just have to choose another one or two peo­ple and make them stars… not too hard con­sid­er­ing they have bil­lions to choose from
