Blueberries for better memory — Recipes included!

I read some­where that Blue­berry juice helps bet­ter your memory.

For a for­get­ful guy like me, a mem­ory boost would be good..

So after a bit of online research,  I found that blue­ber­ries are:

  • High in Antiox­i­dants that neu­tral­izes harm­ful by-products called “free rad­i­cals” that can lead to can­cer and other age-related diseases.
  • Low­ers cho­les­terol bet­ter than pre­scrip­tion drugs. (Based on a resesarch by US Depart­ment of Agriculture)
  • Pre­vents uri­nary tract infections
  • Improves mem­ory, coor­di­na­tion and balance
  • Improves Eye­sight due to a very high con­cen­tra­tion of antho­cyanin, a nat­ural com­pound linked with many health ben­e­fits includ­ing reduc­ing eye­strain and more.
  • Blue­ber­ries have been shown to have a pos­i­tive effect on aging. In ani­mal stud­ies, blue­ber­ries appear to reverse some aspects of brain aging.

I think I should start get­ting some blue­ber­ries in my system..
