I read somewhere that Blueberry juice helps better your memory.
For a forgetful guy like me, a memory boost would be good..
So after a bit of online research, I found that blueberries are:
- High in Antioxidants that neutralizes harmful by-products called “free radicals” that can lead to cancer and other age-related diseases.
- Lowers cholesterol better than prescription drugs. (Based on a resesarch by US Department of Agriculture)
- Prevents urinary tract infections
- Improves memory, coordination and balance
- Improves Eyesight due to a very high concentration of anthocyanin, a natural compound linked with many health benefits including reducing eyestrain and more.
- Blueberries have been shown to have a positive effect on aging. In animal studies, blueberries appear to reverse some aspects of brain aging.
I think I should start getting some blueberries in my system..
